the house was clearly a very old home that was remodeled. When you enter the front door, the interior smells like mold and dust.
they did a good job with the remodel otherwise.
my biggest complaint is the yard. it was not inviting. it was overgrown with weeds. they haven't trimmed any plants or trees. if this was halloween, i wouldn't stop there. kind of scary from the outside. Even the front door was filthy and needed a paint job. No way you could use the garage or back yard, with the junk and debris everywhere.
Overall, just ok.......I have had rental homes over the years, and I would be ashamed to rent this out in this condition

We decided we wanted to explore this part of Floria that we were really unfamiliar with even after living here 20+ years. We were pleased with everything this RETREAT had to offer. A well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants made this the perfect place to call our "home" away from home. It was great to be only a short drive to Ocala and Crystal River. We were cozy and happy with this cute vintage property.

It was the perfect location, close to all the downtown antique and thrift stores and close to the river. It has an awesome backyard where you can grill and use the firepit. 10/10!

I was very impressed by the beautifuly decorated home I rented in a really cute neighborhood. Disappointed about the hard bed, but rolled with that. The kitchen was well stocked, BUT when we cooked our first meal we were surrounded by large black flies all over the place, no bug spray, so we spent almost 2 hours killing and cleaning up these bugs.
I feel my cleaning deposit should have been returned but all I received was a brief apology when I returned home?
