Everything was good but the road but with the weather we’ve been getting what you expected other then that it was good!

My wife and I found this cozy cabin, for our honeymoon. It was small but, quaint. The bed was positioned about 3 feet off a wall with a shelf mounted right at head level. Nothing on the television was hooked up, for you to use and the hot tub evaporated nearly half the water, halfway through the week. When I texted the host with the latter two concerns, I never heard anything back. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and the peacefulness of this location.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. There are updates not shown in current post but the furniture was comfortable and we enjoyed the decorations over the hot tub. The fireplace adds to the cozy cabin vibe as well. I will say the water heater doesn't last long enough to fill the jacuzzi tub but we made it work. It was nice and private and had everything we needed. It was also super close to Pigeon Forge, the National Park, and Gatlinburg so we could choose a different adventure each day.

Wasn't able to get to cabin due to ice on roads. Had to rent a motel in town. Currently waiting on a refund. The people we contacted about the cabin being unable to access were very helpful and did volunteer to get a snowplow to come out. Unfortunately the whole road was impassible.

Cons:
Cabin was not exactly as described. Cabin was not like the photos in the description. Kitchen table was metal with a glass top. There was no screened in back porch. The ceiling fan worked but didn't have any paddles. I think it needs updated photos. The cabin is on a mountain and you do need 4wheel drive or AWD. The driveway is severely washed out. I thought my car bottom was going to be ripped off with the ruts. I have an AWD 2023 crossover vehicle and I worried everytime we would leave and come back. They are doing updates but the description was deceiving. I would stay here again .. it was clean.
Pros:
Cabin was secluded, just how we like it to be. This was our third trip to the area this summer. The hot tub was nice and hot. It was cool when we arrived but heated up quickly to 104. The fireplace(gas) was also nice because the nights were cool. All appliances worked fine and there was plenty of items for cooking. There was Wi-Fi and TV but was iffy at times, expected in the area. There are stores to shop that are close by, including a Dollar General. Lots of wildlife from the front porch. 2 grey fox and tons of chipmunks and squirrels. If you want seclusion from it all..this is the spot to go.

Upon arrival the cabin was full of lady bugs. The hot tub water was set to 52. We tried to cOntact hostess with no response.. thank god for google so we could figure it out. The tv and dish network was horrible. The directions left how to use it IF IT DID work was not helpful at all. The driveway was awful as well. Leaf covered and huge ruts... The sheets and pillow cases had dog hair all over them. The host did not respond to anything in the 3 days we was there. And still have not heard from them. Its definetly WAY BACK in the woods and nice and quiet but needs alot of cleaning and responsive host. The bed does NOT have the drapery on it and NO GRILL either. ..wont be back .

The cabin its self is great. The water was hot but it has a bad smell. We also had a bear all weekend long and with the back not being closed in we didn’t wanna be out in the dark with a bear. But really enjoyed the cabin.

We were actually moved to a different location due to renovations not being complete on original place…was not disappointed!!! Host was always available with answers to any questions/issues we had… we will book again!!!

The cabin in general is a bit run down. Bed is very stiff and uncomfortable. Water was unusable due to strong sulfur smell. We only used it to wash our hands and do the dishes before we left. There is no coffee table in the living room, forcing us to use the kitchen table to play board games. The couch is an uncomfortable foldout futon and not the leather one in the pics. Several things are different than in the pics. Couldn't use the jacuzzi due to the strong sulfur smell of the water. The outdoor hot tub was the nicest thing about the whole cabin. It is also very sketchy getting to the cabin and we returned every night before dark so I could actually see where the road goes. You definitely need AWD and good tires to make it up the driveway in the wet. The biggest negative of the whole thing though is that another cabin is being built just a couple hundred feet away and ruins the privacy of the back deck where the hot tub is. There were workers on site til dark every night cutting boards and making lots of other noise, let alone them being able to easily see us, rendering the back deck useless while they were there. Had I known what it was going to actually be like, I would have gladly spent more money on a better cabin that is more easy to get to.

What we liked-The cabin was clean & pictures were mostly spot on (some furniture has changed). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Shower was newer & clean. The hosts allowed us to enter the cabin early (after checking with cleaning crew) as we arrived earlier than expected. It was peaceful and secluded (although that will change soon as a cabin is being built right behind it). We had repairmen show up unexpectedly to fix the chimney so we let the hosts know. Soon after the owner reached out and apologized for the inconvenience. We werent inconvenienced, just wanted them to be aware but we appreciated the call!
What we didnt like-The bed was awful, very uncomfortable and noisy, definitely needs updating. The grounds were unkept and overgrown, no view to speak of. There was a dresser for clothes but no where to hang clothes. Hot tub was nice but had trouble with temperature.
We would stay here again if they updated the bed!

The cabin is comfortable and very private, Everything was in good order and I feel like it was a good deal. Minuses are, bed squeaks a lot which was annoying. It's made of almost like fence posts that are not glued and every little movement it squeaks. But it was comfortable. The cabin is very cozy and we loved the privacy and solitude. The drive up was a little daunting the first time but then it was no big deal for me. I have a Chevy Malibu which made it up and down no problem. Just give it some gas going up and take your time going down. Although this has a Sevierville address the Pigeon Forge attractions are pretty close but not too close it you know what I mean. It was a short drive to SMNP and we spent the day at the NP and were home and in the hot tub in no time. Overall a really fun weekend which we both needed. I would rent this again without hesitation.

It was great except we got there and could not use the hot tub due to being in sleep mode and 80° and did not warm up until the next day. And the jacuzzi tub did not work and did not get fixed until 05/10/22. So 2 days without it. But other than that it was good.

The trip to pigeon forge was great. False advertising at is best. Doesn’t sleep 4 , only one bed. Had to buy sleeping bags. Infestation with mosquitoes. Daughter sick from it. Police were called on me and I won’t ever forget the embarrassment. I am the father of adopted Chinese and Vietnamese children. There is a porch camera. My only thought is . A dad with children can’t have a vacation because yes the word race.

The cabin was secluded down a gravel road and could barely see the sign to continue on the path. The lights were not working for the front porch. The water flow in the tub was awful and while showering the water had a foul odor. The phone in the cabin didn’t work. There was WiFi but it was slower than expected. The back porch screened in door was broken but usable. The bed was comfortable. The cabin is dated but overall it was an okay place to sleep as we spent most of the day in town.
