We had a great time at Rockview House exploring Joshua Tree. The house and amenities made our stay quite comfortable. I would highly recommend this VRBO and hope to return again.

The little house is a gem and has a great retro vibe. The décor and artwork really make it feel like a dessert stay. The house is within walking distance to Joshua Tree Visitor Center (where you can also pick up coffee and great sandwiches for your day trip) and also to other shops and eating places on the main road. Kristin, the host was readily accessible by text and check-in and out was a breeze. We really appreciated being able to have our older dog welcomed as well. We were only there 3 nights, but Kristin had everything you would need to stay a week or longer and cook more. We did use the Weber grill outside but unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of the cute yard space as it was too cold and windy.

We only had two days to climb in Joshua Tree but wished we had more time to enjoy this lovely house! It was very clean and comfortable with a great location. It was stocked including some “extras” you don’t typically see. The yard was delightful as well. Highly recommend this colorful and charming desert house! We will stay here again!

Absolutely loved this house from the moment we walked in, it had a great desert vibe. Loved all of the dessert themed pictures and trinkets throughout the house. The house was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom with all the necessities. The backyard was beautiful and the perfect place to hang out during our entire stay. Really appreciated that there was charcoal to use for the grill, since we forgot to grab a bag at the store. The bathtub was the perfect place to cool down and relax in while it was hot during the day. Great book and game selections. We really enjoyed the old school record player. I was skeptical about the swamp cooler but, it worked great and kept us cool while we were inside. We will definitely be booking again and are looking forward to our next stay.

The Rockview house was perfect for our recent hiking/wildflower viewing visit to Joshua Tree NP. This clean and well-maintained house has a tasteful Mid-century modern/Desert vibe, complemented by artwork and furnishings in a fun color palette. And access to the park couldn't be more convenient.
I've never seen a rental so well stocked. The kitchen had every appliance and gadget you could possibly need, as well as a vast array of condiments. Also had coolers for day trips. The outdoor bathtub was a nice way to unwind in the evening. Kristen was very communicative and available and couldn't have been kinder.

Very clean ,comfortable, well stocked accommodations. Conveniently situated to both Joshua Tree town and West entrance to JT National Park. Plenty of guide materials, books and games. The neighborhood was quiet. The owners were very communicative. With any concerns.

Perfect little cottage house--wonderfully appointed and the location was excellent for our two days of touring through Joshua Tree and the area. The hosts were very thoughtful and the details were always whimsical and in keeping with the area!

This is one of the nicest AirBNB/VRBO/Evolve places I've ever stayed in. Kristen was wonderfully responsive and helpful, the house was beautiful with loving attention to detail, the kitchen really well stocked of NICE things, the bed was comfortable/firm, the big bathroom CLEAN, the serene, large and private backyard had a whimsical but USEFUL bathtub and outdoor lounge for 2, and the living room was full of options for entertaining FUN. We're looking forward to our next stay!

Our family of four (kids 10 and 13) spent four nights here over spring break, and we all agreed the place was awesome -- really really clean, spacious and comfortable, with all the supplies we needed, and in a great location near the park entrance. The stylish decor is a charming combination of midcentury modern and desert chic, with just the right amount of houseplants and art. While the park was amazing, we also enjoyed relaxing back at the house -- hanging out in the living room, making meals together (unlike many rentals, the kitchen is equipped for actual cooking), and browsing through the rich collection of books and information about the area. (My son slept on the sofa bed in the living room and was woken up by the sunshine coming through the curtains, but since we usually wanted to get an early start to go to the park, it wasn't a big problem.) Highly recommended, and we can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay in Joshua Tree. The house is perfect for a family of four. Lovely yard for a hangout and barbecue, colorful, comfortable furnishings, great kitchen and bathroom --it's a wonderful spot.
And, you can't beat the location just off Park Blvd for daytrips into the National Park. We stayed four nights and hiked in the park every day, so it was absolutely perfect. Also, walked into town for hat shopping at Coyate Corner and dinner.
Best of all, is the warm welcome and excellent communication from the host. She took fabulous care of us and even mailed us a power supply that we'd left behind and hadn't even noticed we'd lost! A true delight of an experience all the way around. We will definitely be back as we have family in Joshua Tree and visit at least once a year. This will be our new go-to spot for sure - no need to look further.

We spent three nights at the Rockview House and loved it. The decor is terrific and fits perfectly with the desert escape theme, with a nice mid-century touch thrown in. The house is stocked with whatever you need and spotless. It was a little too cold to enjoy the patio but nice to gaze briefly at the stars while letting the dog out (nice separate back area to let the pooch roam although can cause quite the commotion with the rest of the neighborhood dogs). There is only one wall heater which does a decent job, but definitely need a space heater and/or comforters in the back bedroom. Perfectly situated to walk into the town of Joshua Tree and off the main road to the park entrance. Highly recommended!

Our family enjoyed a fantastic weekend in November at the Rockview House. The furnishings were very clean; retro 60's modern and super cool. Loved the record player! It was a very simple check in and check out. Kristin had everything ready for us including a nice bottle of wine and a note welcoming us to the home. Convenient and close to everything! Thank you, Kristin, for welcoming our family into your beautiful home. We look forward to renting your home again and will be sure to tell our friends.
