This was a perfect location for our annual guys trip. There are so many different games that it kept us occupied the whole time. Also, all the animals in this place was fascinating!
Anthony kept great communication with us with regards to accessing the property and dealing with challenging roads due to the climate. If you are accessing this property during the winter months I would advise 4WD / AWD vehicles.
Also, the bbq place called Jim's Smokin Que was a gem! It's right down the road.
We'll definitely be back!

We had three adults and 6 kids and felt the house was just the right size! The game room and pool room were the hit of the kids. Adults enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and amount of bedrooms for all.
We were happy we stopped at the grocery store before we arrived as it’s quite the trek to get to decent grocery store, but we were able to cook all our meals there and it saves us a lot of money with such a large party, especially with kids!

Our family rented this home for our annual holiday vacation. We try to find a house that’s large enough with amenities that will help keep the small kids entertained (and the big) and Anthony’s home did not disappoint. The house was amazing and exactly as advertised. We had more than enough room for a group of 15 and the house had everything we needed. Anthony’s hospitality made you feel like you were visiting a friend. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home!

Mansion Bear Manor is a phenomenal location for a large group (in my case our three grown children and their five young kids). The location is beautiful and secluded with fantastic views of the Blue Ridge mountains and the amenities of home. This is the second year (in a row) that we've stayed here and we will no doubt come back again in the future. From the rustic and "wild" interior decorating, the well-stocked game room upstairs to the legit casino downstairs this mountain getaway is AWESOME. We picked up a cord of wood on day one and did our best to burn it in the outdoor fire pit that was a great place to sit around and catch up with family. There was a family of white tailed deer that came through several times while we were there as well. Anthony is a great owner and is very keen to make sure that each visit is as good as it can be...2023 was a very memorable one for us.
