Amazing 3 days/nights! My hubby & I wanted to get out of DC to enjoy a peaceful getaway & this was perfect! The cottage was little rough on outside, understandably for a 1920s cottage BUT lawn was beautifully mowed, plenty of firewood & SUPER clean & well appointed cottage. The library had an amazing assortment of WWII books & many others. Full size washer/dryer, new sheets, towels, shower curtain… very nice. Easy to get to and get in.. very quiet! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly Recommend!

Even though it was some of the hottest days of the summer so we could not be outside much, we all enjoyed it.

Great , quiet , rural setting, no people or traffic, plenty of outdoor space, clean, We (3 adults in our 70’s) stayed 5 nights, did wash/dry towels each day to have enough, including dish clothes, Need: ceiling fans in bd rms, mirrors, dish and laundry soaps, few more towels, While the nightly rate quoted was seemingly attractive, the mandatory damage fee$120 and cleaning fee,$109, added up to make the total about average with similar properties. Five nights cost us $1,010. I have paid more or less at other similar properties, The initial rate bf fees is low enough that this property appears first when searching verbo by price, but the fees moves it to deeper down the list.
