We rented this house for our family during my daughter's graduation. The location was perfect for us because it was walking distance from my daughter's apartment (I had no idea at the time of booking) and about a mile away from Texas Tech campus. The church parking lot, across the street, provided extra parking for friends to come over for dinner. Luckly, we had it catered and didn't have to cook. The kitchen/dining area was tight (kinda like an RV), but I already knew what I was getting into looking at the pictures. I'm pretty sure everyone eats on their beautiful sectional, but you would never know it. We brought extra folding chairs to eat on the spacious front porch because the weather was great. if you have the space in your vehicle, maybe bring some tv table trays. There is no access to the backyard, but it would feel too segregated to eat out there anyway because there is no backdoor to get there. The rooms were very clean, simple, and spacious. Heavier sleepers might need to sleep in the master bedroom because of the road noise (or bring a sound machine). The backrooms are a little cooler for hot natured people. There is a bit of a homlessness walking to the church for their meals, but they weren't a bother.
This property is also listed for Marriott Bonvoy members and I was able to book it using my points a couple of months before the graduation. For that being a Bonvoy property and a relatively short amount of time, I was very grateful. The house was very comfortable. The host was also very excellent and for me that goes a long way. The whole process went very smooth!

Rented the house for family coming for my graduation & it was the perfect comfy home base for my dad and his siblings. We sat on the comfy couches and told old stories and had a blast! Everyone slept comfortably and the fridge was large enough to stock everyone’s favorite beverages!

We enjoyed this property very much. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the living room had plenty of sitting space, the kitchen was a little tight, but overall it had everything that we needed. The front porch is a very nice outdoor gathering space. I would recommend that you bring chairs to enjoy the space. Overall, I would recommend and would be happy to stay again.

The stay was very enjoyable. The listing says that you have access to the backyard and we did not, but everything else was fine for our stay.
