We had a wonderful stay at 94 1/2 West St, and would definitely stay there again. It's convenient to everything in Elkhart Lake and by far the closest place I've stayed to Road America. Here are the details.
Pros:
Clyde is a great host. He was accessible and helpful before and during the stay. He even accommodated my special coffee requests! Don't even bother trying to contact Christy. She did not respond to an email or phone message before the stay. Just contact Clyde.
The unit was clean.
The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked.
The beds and pillows were comfortable.
The unit is well insulated. Night temps got down to the low 40s during my stay, but the inside temp never got below 69 without turning on the heat.
There really are no "cons," but here are some things to consider:
As the listing states, there is a stairway up to the unit. It is steep and the treads are shallow. If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you.
As other reviews have stated, the bathroom is small. It's clean and functional. The shower has good water pressure. Don't forget to bring a hair dryer.
There is no dishwasher. Soap and provisions for hand washing are provided.
There is no cable TV, just a few local digital stations and a fun DVD collection. I was able to play Fubo from my laptop on the TV via an HDMI cable I keep in my computer bag.
The area seemed very safe, but there are almost no exterior lights and the parking area is dark. You may want to pack flashlights or use phone lights if you plan to arrive after dark and have significant luggage.
This is by far the longest (7 nights) I've stayed in a private short-term rental (AirBnB, VRBO, etc) and it was a great experience. No need to drive to/from Sheboygan or Fond du Lac every day for Road America events when reasonably priced options like this exist right in Elkhart Lake!

We stayed here for the Ryder Cup and it was exactly what we had in mind. Walking distance to restaurants and very safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

The home owner has a real gem. The home is within walking distance to all of the major restaurants, shops, and trails. Would 100% rent from them again!

Clean and well-maintained old apartment. A/C worked fine and everything seemed to have a fresh coat of paint. Nice Road America memorabilia on the walls. Bathroom very small but adequate. If you have access questions, be warned about the very steep stairs to access the apartment. However, my interaction with the woman assigned as host contact was very unsatisfactory. When I called to confirm the unit was ready, a male answered -- he was dismissive, saying that I had the wrong number and he had no connection with the property. Panic ensued, of course. I had a group of friends counting on these accommodations. A while later Christy called back and blamed it on her "immature man-child". No need to suffer that kind of thing. Get a new host contact.
