My two childhood friends and I get together every summer someplace different. I had been to Shasta quite a bit, but they had not. We were very pleased with our accommodations - we each had our own room, the beds were very comfy, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck and the kitchen was equipped. It was also very clean. We liked the location, as we were able to walk to dinner two of the nights - Lily’s and a garden restaurant close by (can’t remember the name.) It was a short drive to town and a reasonable drive to great hiking.
All in all, it was a good choice for us!

We had a fantastic time staying here and it was very well appointed with everything that we could need. It was just the right amount of space for our family of five, would love to see bunkbeds in one of the rooms instead of two queens, but it worked out fine for our kids to share a bed. We only had two small matters that could be improved, which is the bedrooms could certainly use thicker curtains so less light comes in, especially the one facing the front. Most of the pillows were very uncomfortable either too lumpy or too soft so they provided no support. Otherwise it was a really fantastic time and we plan to come back, but would likely bring our own pillows next time unless they are replaced before then. The host was very receptive and helpful and even helped us retrieve an item that we left behind. Highly recommend this for your Shasta vacation!

Perfect! Easy walking to downtown. A great and locally owned coffee shop just across the street. Everything was clean and in good shape. Kitchen had everything we needed (coffee maker, microwave, large refrigerator/freezer, etc.)
Very happy with our stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Was the perfect size house for myself and family. Where we’re in town for a wedding and this has was only 5 minutes from the venue. The house was clean and so comfortable, it was like being at home for us all. The beds were super comfortable as well. We would love to stay here again.
