We had a great week at the Salty Shrimp. Weather was cooler but still had the sun most days. The cottage is so close to the beach just a short walk. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host Bridgett was wonderful. We enjoyed the bikes the deck and the front porch. So close to restaurants and Jockey Ridge State Park. We will definitely be back. Thank you Bridgett for sharing your home!

There is a very good reason we keep coming back to the Salty Shrimp year after year. The house is always very clean and comfortable. The central location to either Corrolla or Hatteras or any point between is perfect. We have tried a few other homes in the area and each time regret not going home to the Salty Shrimp.

This was our second year in a row to stay at the Salty Shrimp! The location is so close to many great restaurants, & a short walk to the beach from the home. Everything was so clean, very well-stocked with essentials. We would not hesitate to book here again!

Excellent house with close proximity to the beach access. Has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and chairs, toys, and shade for the beach. The buggy was a game changer for hauling everything with three kids in tow. The location on the side street provides a place for kids to play and ride bikes when you’re not at the ocean. The cornhole boards were a great addition and provided plenty of entertainment for us all. The front porch was ideal for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine as the sunset. And last but not least, you can never go wrong with an outdoor shower!
