Last year my family of 5 kids and myself stayed in a hotel (two connecting rooms) in Boone for their first time skiing. This year for a little more room I was looking for an affordable house to rent and found this gem! It was perfect with all bedrooms having ensuite bathrooms plus an additional bathroom on the main floor. Close enough to the Ski Resort that we were able to come home for lunch each day. The home was spotless upon arrival and unlike other rental properties it was fully stocked with paper towels, dish detergent, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, garbage bags, etc. Also there were plenty of towels for 8 people! I had brought extra supplies just in case and didn't need them. Extra surprise, as we were packing up the car, 6 deer came out of the woods across the street and walked right into the next driveway to get to the woods behind the house. The kids have been talking about this being the best vacation and I would agree. Being in a home rather than hotel was wonderful! For me, the bonus was the affordable price of the home - more space for about the same price as staying in a hotel. The host was wonderful as well - my GPS led me astray and she called while we were in the car and didn't get off the phone until we arrived at the house. She responded to any text questions I sent within minutes. Overall, I highly recommend renting through Evolve and we will be back next year!

We enjoyed our stay very much here. The home is decorated beautifully and has everything we needed. We enjoyed the location and the view from the back deck is gorgeous ! We saw lots of wildlife, even some bears. There are a few things that need attention though. None of the lights worked in the stair wells. The bulbs are burned out and we were not able to replace them because of the ceiling height. We had to use a flashlight every night to get down the stairs. The faucet in the kitchen sink drips continuously. We were told that there was no garbage pickup and we would have to take our trash to the recycle center, however, they would not take it without a permit. After speaking with the attendant, he was nice enough to allow us to leave it. He expressed the fact that the rental agency should know this. There are trash "bear boxes" in front of the house and we felt like we could have left the garbage in them. All in all it is a great home and we would definitely love to stay there again.

The location is perfect if you need to go back and forth from the airbnb to the resort. It's a short 5 minute drive. Cleanliness was about a 7 out of 10. Opening the kitchen drawers did make me want to wash the dishes once more. The check out time was conflicting. Our online reservation and email said 10am, but the house book with information that we found on the counter said 11am. Trash removal was also contradictory. Reservation details said we needed to bring our trash to a convenience center to dispose of it, but then the convenience center folks said we were not allowed to leave trash with them without some sort of pass and that the owners of the airbnb should know that. Thankfully they took our first trash delivery. Finally, I sent an email to the owner to inquire about a few things before my arrival but they never responded. Not one email.
