This was my 4th and my husband’s 3rd time to stay at this lovely gem of a home. We love the quiet this property offers and how many forms of wildlife one can see each day. There is great hiking right out the back door. The house is very clean and has everything you need to cook full meals. Two patios for stargazing and sunrise and sunsets. The beds are comfy and the linens are scrumptious. Both rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well/appointrd. The art and decor are original, New Mexico-themed and make your stay feel like home.
Very close to El Nido and Tesuque Village Market and a 12 minute drive into Santa Fe. The hosts are also amazing. We will be back!

The title of this property is 100% accurate – Porter Place is one of the best “hidden gems” we found on our trip to Santa Fe. (and there are LOTS of "gems" to discover in this intriguing corner of the USA)
Do NOT be wondering or worried about what seems to be a remote location. This lovely home has everything to recommend it. Beautifully decorated with original art. Well stocked kitchen and pantry. Two roomy bedrooms with comfortable beds and storage for all. Peace and quiet and yet, a quick ride puts you in the heart of the city within 12-minute drive.
Best of all, the help and responsiveness of the host. April was in constant contact with us and always at the ready to answer a question, “run over” with a needed item and/or provide a recommendation. This was so appreciated especially since a series of minor bumps (delivery of needed medical supplies and an unexpected power outage) saved the day and the trip for all.
Cannot recommend this lovely home highly enough. Given everything Santa Fe has to offer (and there is a LOT to experience) we will be back!

Excellent accommodations surrounded by nature..This home excels in comfort and decor . The location is convenient to anything you want in Santa Fe. Sitting on the front porch or back patio in the morning or evening is a delight.
