We rented this for a family reunion and it was very convenient and the bedrooms were spacious and wonderful. The stairs to enter are steep but we managed. Kitchen definitely needs dishes and much better pans. But overall we loved the location and the beach right across the street, the awesome pizza parlor below and the view! Would rent again for sure!

We can't say enough about how much we loved staying in this beautiful home. Very spacious and everyone liked the tvs in every room! Also the huge comfy sectional couch! (My husbands favorite part! LOL) The patio is great for watching sunsets over Lake Huron or just seeing all the people wandering the streets downtown. Very peaceful in the morning to have a cup of coffee and start your day. We never drove our car once we arrived to our Tawas home :) Our kids were thrilled they could walk everywhere ... shopping, restaurants, to the beach. We ate many times at G's Pizza (which is just downstairs) . Food is delicious and the owner Paul is very helpful and kind. Also the ice cream shop Marions is wonderful. And make sure to go shopping at Ben Franklin. Right around the corner. Also you will love eating at Mr. Jacks !! Food is wonderful! Great location downtown.
We look forward to staying here again !! Tawas is such a lovely town to visit ! Thanks again for everything .. to Paul the owner. And also the Evolve team ... for making our vacation great .

My family, parents, and I stayed in this property for a quick fall weekend getaway, and we were all very impressed with this property! The location was perfect - right downtown, a block from the main street and across the street from the lake. We have two kids under 3 and the master bedroom was more than enough room for all of us. The living room was big with a very comfortable couch (all seats recline) and about a 60 inch tv. The owner Paul was very friendly and helped out with whatever we needed. One of my favorite things about the property was the pizzeria below. The pizzeria was right there and had awesome food with a great atmosphere. Having a good restaurant so close with little kids was a real bonus.

The rental was everything that was described in the listing. Great location to town and beach. Spacious living area.
The one issue was that we didn’t have water pressure or cold water. The bathroom off the master bedroom would be low pressure then just fade away to nothing for about 5 seconds then slowly come back to low pressure. We could not adjust the temp easily because we could not get the cold water. Both hot and cold would run warm to hot water. This was in the shower and kitchen.
I did message the contact person who suggested to let the water run for a while. That did not help. We dealt with it while we were there.
