The size and layout of the apartment was above expectations. The host was very helpful via messenger at sorting getting onto the internet. Well equipped kitchen with some food basics in the cupboard which could have been useful if you were self catering. Location was excellent sitting between the town centre and the citadel.
Communal Light switch at the bottom of the stairs didn’t work,which made walking up a little tricky.

Quiet location near the New Bridge over the River Aude was outstanding for walking into the Citadel, by the river, gardens and city. The apartment is small, was enough for me alone, 2 would be just OK. Plenty of hot water, all the usual towels, cutlery, plates, microwave etc.
Bed was a bit wonky (delicately balanced wooden slat holding frame up which came loose leading to a drop. This needs a simple fix, soon, before the frame breaks). Kitchen was OK but no PVC chopping board for meat and vegetables.
