The rooms were comfortable and clean. All I was looking for was somewhere to sleep with good access to St. Ives. It was perfect for that.
Unfortunately one can hear all the creeks and sounds from the rooms above. There was a dog that seemed to roam around well into the night and I could hear the TV and 'music' played loudly until the early hours (4am on a couple of occasions). I couldn't ask them to turn it down as the access door seems to be for a number of rooms. I had to put up with it the whole week. There was a sign saying that the rooms are let via 'Aspect holidays' based in the town, but they couldn't help as they no longer run the property.
I appreciate that this is a tricky problem to solve and, apart from the noise above, the rooms were perfect for my needs, but I can't run the risk of half sleepless nights next time so I will have to look elsewhere.
