The rooms were lovely - nicely furnished and comfortable. The heaters were left on so it was nice to arrive to a warm room. The host provided good communication and also sent a list of what was happening in Castlemaine while we were there.
Not necessarily a negative, but having somewhere to hang clothes would be helpful.

Property and location were great. Very quiet. Old inside was great, in perfect condition.
No breakfast. No bikkies. Kitchenette a bit small. Not clear if onsite parking or not. A history of the beautiful building would have been very interesting.

Really great location
The little “kitchen” was in the bathroom, wasn’t a fan of that.
Mattress was too soft for us, could be suitable for most though.

Charming, quirky, comfy, private and decked out with interesting decor and vintage pieces. Secret highlights were the grapefruit tree and the bass guitar! Views from verandah were lovely. Close to town. Great claw foot bath. Real easy communication and check-in. Despite it being an attached space, felt totally private.
