On The Beach 3 Port Douglas

The location was awesome and so easy to town and beach

This apartment is in my opinion, in the best location for Port Douglas. Delightful to sit inside or outside with a water view or be able to stroll up the street for coffee, to restaurants and icecream shops. The apartment is tastfully decorated with a very well equipped kitchen. 3 king bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were excellent for our party.

Nothing to complain about other than dishwasher door being very tight to close.

We had the smoke alarm go off at 2am one morning for a single alert upstairs and downstairs. Also the dishwasher was not working property - door struggled to open due to carpentry and very difficult to operate as there was no markings on the dials or panels - all guess work.

Location is excellent, easy access to the beach and to walk up Macrossan St. Onsite parking. Pool was always quiet. Spacious for up to a family of 5. Air-conditioning works well in all areas. We liked having the ceiling fans to uses at night. Excellent support and communication from the property managers- thank you 🙂

The ensuit and laundry facilities were quite tired. The dishwasher wasn't really usable, the kitchen wasn't well kitted out, fry pan was too small, the toasted sandwich maker probably should be condemned. The washing machine was extremely dated and tricky to use. The ensuit was very small and impractical The construction site next door impacted the views, the dust was quite full on, they did drop the price a little to accommodate this. There is no outdoor furniture on the upstairs balcony like all of the others in the complex, we would have loved to sit out there. Outdoor table required repair whilst we we there as it was not usable. We've stayed next door, it was far superior and much better value. Number 3 needs some TLC to compete.
