About this apartment rental
Lower Calypso is the lower floor of Villa Calypso. It is located above Oualie Beach, 3-5-minute walk down to the beach, the nicest and safest beach on Nevis. The secluded mile-long Lovers' Beach is around the corner. Lower Calypso sleeps 2-4. It has one bedroom with a king-size bed, another bedroom with two twin beds, one bathroom, living room with kitchen and dining area, and a large veranda with breathtaking views.
Villa Calypso has a second apartment, Upper Calypso, which can be rented separately (see a separate listing on VRBO).
Upper Calypso sleeps 4-6. It has two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed,
a private bathroom, large living room with kitchen and a dining area. The living room has a queen-size sleeper couch and a half-bath. The large veranda has breathtaking sea and sunset views.
Or rent the whole Calypso villa, Upper and Lower, at a discount (sleeps 6-10).
Villa Calypso and its companion Villa Iris together have four apartments and can accommodate up to 15 people.
Calypso and Iris share a swimming pool in the same compound.
The villas include a laundry room with washer and dryer, gas grill, wi-fi, all amenities.

The place is well situated above Oualie beach and a short drive to everywhere else. The view from Lower Calypso is fantastic as long as you put the chairs all the way to the left. The pool is a great feature. It was fun watching the monkeys sneak sips of water from it even when we were right there. It was not well stocked when we arrived. It was missing little things like paper towels and trash bags. The bathroom blind was broken when we arrived. Urban, the caretaker did come and bring paper towels. He tried to fix the blind but was unsuccessful. He pinned it up and left it that way. Otherwise everything else was great. The a/c in the bedroom is ice cold. The mattress is a little on the firm side for our liking. The front veranda is perfect for morning coffee. Bbq grill made meals easy. The laundry room was very convenient.
