About this villa rental

This 3/4-bedroom villa with private pool is tastefully decorated and an ideal location for a family holiday.
The accommodation is spacious and has 3 large bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms and a family bathroom which is located on the ground floor.
A further attraction of this villa is free high speed fibre internet wih enterprise grade WiFi throughout and premium UK TV channels. It also has the ability to use your own entertainment system with the 75 inch home cinema system.
The property also has a 4th bedroom, ideal for teenagers, as it is located on the lower ground floor adjacent to the state of the art games room complete with cinema room, pool table, games table and bar. In this area there is also a 4th bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Access to this section of the house is via the pool area and lower terrace.
As the villa is on 3 levels it may be unsuitable for persons with reduced mobility.
The beauty of this villa is its location although a car is recommended, it is not essential. The villa is close to 2 large supermarkets, and the centre of Lagos with all its amenities are less than a 15-minute walk away. The beaches can be reached on foot or local transport is available to visit the many coves.
In the evening enjoy a walk along the Avenida dos Descobrimentos to the Fort and watch the sun setting over the sea, before enjoying a beautiful meal in one of the many restaurants.
The town of Lagos is full of restaurants, cafes and bars to suit everyone offering a vibrant and exciting atmosphere with street entertainers, craft stalls and musicians making your holiday one to remember.
Lagos also offer an award winning marina with bars and restaurants, where you can also arrange a selections of boat trips and excursions.

Excellent Villa perfect for large groups. Villa was clean and as listed. Great location near supermarkets and a walk into town. Comfortable beds with en suites in most.

A few little negative points:
No gate at bottom of steps. First day we arrived we founds some items in the steps, which included a bong!! Several days later a pile of clothes had been left there.
Property was in the whole nice and clean. However, the outdoor furniture had clearly not been cleaned for a while.
Bedroom we stayed in could have done with some bedside cabinets and side lights that would be bright enough to see.
Overall the property could do with a lick of paint, and some slight changes. The outdoor sun loungers and umbrella are a bit worn. We had 2 incidents with the umbrella. One time it collapsed on to my daughter causing a large gash on her leg, another day it blew into the next door neighbours pool because it would lock in properly. The umbrella was desperately needed as the heat was intense in the pool area
The main problem for us was the CONSTANT NOISE. Dogs barking, chickens cock a doodling, machinery, always a noise of some description.
Please don’t get me wrong the property has lots of good points. The pool was lovely and kept clean, kitchen was beautifully set out and has everything you could want, the villa is nicely laid out and the games room was great. (Furniture down there though, had visible thick dust on). Probably just hadn’t been used for a while.
Can not fault Algarve Retreats, service from them was great with good and punctual transfers.
