About this house rental
Come and relax in the tranquility of our Villa on the Silver Coast- Peaceful location, 60 minutes from Lisbon airport, 3 mins from the Obidos lagoon, 13 km from the fascinating medieval town of Óbidos , 14 km from the lively town of Caldas da Rainha.
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room/living room. TV, WIFI in the house. 3 golf courses nearby.
Our house is ideal for couples, families with children and small groups of friends.
There are many tourist trails around the lagoon, as well as rich flora and fauna, bird watching, picnic spots, etc.
The food is superb, if you like fresh food and dining in restaurants you will be spoiled for choice along the beach strips. If you enjoy cooking at home, why not prepare a meal in our fully equipped kitchen.
If you are interested in golf there are several amazing 2 courses within a 5 minute drive - West Cliffs Golf, Royal Obidos, and Guardian Bom Sucesso and Praia d'El Rey Golf Course which is approximately 10 minutes drive away.
Household linen is provided (towels, sheets and bath towels).

Lovely house, lagoon area has breeze even at height of summer in August.
Good base, Obidos, 20 mins away, is a medieval town with very impressive castle. Beautiful buildings with local artists selling paintings and prints, plenty of good restaurants. Lisbon is an hour away.
A car is essential to get around, as the house is situated up a forested hill above lagoon. Excellent walks and runs around the lagoon, which is only 15 mins away by foot. Lots of activities available, we opted for kayaks which were very good value - €15 for an hour for a double or €10 for a single. Really comfortable and proper seats even for us middle aged with back issues.
This is a beautiful, quiet area, with lots of interesting nature including flamingoes in August.
There are any number of fantastic beaches within 15 mins to 30 mins away, Praia del Rey being the closest.
