Located 68 steps from the beach at Rockaway, King Tide is a spacious, two-bedroom cottage with fantastic renovations that will delight your guests.
Newly installed tongue-in-groove planks in the vaulted ceiling add an airy dimension to the serene living room, with its roomy white sectional and ottoman, contemporary chairs, Smart TV, and electric fireplace. The fully remodeled kitchen includes a dining nook with views of the surrounding coastal foothills. An outdoor porch with Adirondack seating and a picnic table gives you space to dine outdoors. Two sweet queen bedrooms, both with Smart TVs and one with a vaulted ceiling, share a full bath. You’ll find plenty of space outdoors, and easy access down to the beach.
If you want to invite extra friends or family, three other cottages, Driftwood, Beach Bliss, and Ocean Break, are available right next door—all with the same fantastic updates. Look up King Crab if you’d like to rent all four for a special reunion of friends and family. All are a very short stroll to miles of level sand at Rockaway Beach. Beachcomb to your heart’s content, try crabbing from the jetty, do some freshwater fishing on Lake Lytle, or just soak in the sun, wind, and sky. A trip into town will reward you with whimsical shopping and delicious dining. The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad travels along the coast from Rockaway Beach to Garibaldi with open-air cars drawn by a steam engine, a unique and delightful way to see this rugged stretch of coastline. Living room lights kept flickering but otherwise an a wonderful stay.

The did not turn the heaters on before we got there. It must have been 50 degrees in the house. We turned on all the wall heater full blast. It took a full 24 hours to warm the house up. It is a super cute house, close to the beach. Also, think about a space heater for the bathroom. We will stay again, maybe in the summer

My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We found the unit perfectly clean and the decor was cheerful, neat, comfortable, and relaxing. Linens and basic supplies were well stocked. Super easy to access. Location was so lovely - just a one minute walk from a beautiful, wide, quiet beach. Didn't even need to cross any roads to get there!
We had a couple minor maintenance issues but they were quickly and completely addressed.
Bedrooms and bathroom are a little small, but the place was super spacious for our group of two. We found the price we paid was a great value.
Overall extremely happy with our stay!
