This unit was clean and comfortable. There was enough space for everyone to spread out.
Some of the lightswitches are in weird places. We could not watch tv in the livingroom because there was not a working remote. The portable AC unit upstairs leaked and soaked the carpet. That's going to lead to mold.

We love coming to Destin and have stayed at sand piper cove every time. Overall, it’s a very nice vacation, kids love the resort, easy access to the beach. However, few things that would make me try a different resort or area: the condos are bare bones. A condo that sleeps 8 only has 1-2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 packs of dishwasher soap, 2 garbage bags, 0 laundry soap, no other toiletries, no spices to cook with not even salt and pepper. nothing to even purchase on the property. Then you are forced to go buy stuff from target and at the end of your stay you throw the rest away. So wasteful. Seems like expensive condos like sand piper should be more equipped with necessary items when staying with a big family for 7 nights. We were there for 7 nights and ran out of that stuff the first day. We also had a huge cockroach greet us in the kitchen sink when we checked in.

A nice place. There were some issues . We got locked out our first night there. Also there was glass shards in the carpet. We several cut feet over the course of our stay. Other that those issues we had a great stay.
