The Space:
Our vintage and cozy cottage is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families, or groups of friends. Cherrywood Haven is the perfect combination of hideaway and Harpers Ferry getaway!
The cabin includes:
- Two bedrooms - each with a queen bed - plus a pull-out sofa in the living room
- A spacious, furnished enclosed porch, perfect for relaxing with good friends or a good book
- Fast, reliable WiFi that's more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls
- Well-appointed kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave and all the tools you need to prepare tasty meals
- Covered outdoor entertainment area with bubbly hot tub and ambience lighting
We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly! Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
Note: We're currently in the process of renovating the basement, and it's unfortunately not available to guests. All the main living areas, both bedrooms, bathroom, and all listed amenities in the description are all still accessible -- and there will be no construction being done during your stay. We just wanted to make sure you're aware!
Please be aware that the fireplace is not currently (12/13) operational, but we've already ordered a replacement and expect it to be up and running soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Beyond the cabin itself, the Harpers Ferry area is great for so many reasons -- and Cherrywood Haven is just a short drive to everything. Take in Civil War history in downtown historic Harpers Ferry, float down the Shenandoah River, go hiking in the woods, or explore the local wineries, breweries, and fantastic restaurants our area has to offer!

A cute home is in the woods. It has a huge covered grilling and hot tub area with a picnic table nearby. We wanted a quiet weekend away, and this home did not disappoint. Watch out for the bugs, bring bug spray! I was delighted that DoorDash is available here, so they delivered my forgotten items.

This property was a quiet and clean place to relax at the beginning of spring break. The hot tub was a big draw and it did not disappoint. A few more mirrors in the bedroom for those of us that have to blow dry our hair, and the place is perfect!

Location was good. But the house needs some updates and a good cleaning. The tub is clogged. The sofa had odor. Too much clutter for dog friendly house. However, we did appreciate our stay.
