The Ocean Club Resort resonates with southern charm. Built in the Charlestonian style of architecture, the open living space of the villas harmonizes with the magnificent maritime environment. All villas have fully equipped kitchens, 1-2 bedrooms, 2 baths, washers/dryers and balconies. As the coastal destination resort, The Ocean Club offers every amenity. Access to the soundside fishing pier and launch areas for kayaks and paddleboards is also available. Grilling is just a few steps away via community park grill access. Featuring 3 pools including a gated Oceanfront heated pool, Soundfront pool, and children's pool, there is no end of things to do at the resort. For those who want to explore the Crystal Coast, shopping, dining, golf, eco-touring, charter wind surfing, fishing and scuba diving are just a few of the activities available nearby.

Ocean Club R301 is a 2 bedroom 2 bath Soundfront Condo with views of Bogue Sound! This soundfront condo has beautiful views of the water and a relaxing covered porch to enjoy during your stay. The covered porch has 2 ceiling fans to allow for a breeze while enjoying the serene sound view!
The Living Area has a 47 inch HDTV with DVR and a DVD player and provides more of those gorgeous sound views. With Bedroom #1 with King Bed, TV, Private Bath with Double Vanity, Tub and Shower; Bedroom #2 with Queen Bed, TV, access to Shared Bath; and Bonus Room with Twin over Double Bunk, TV, access to Shared Bath, there is ample opportunity for restful relaxation!
Amenities Include: 4 Flat Panel TVs, High Speed Wireless Internet, 3 DVD Players, Card Table, Puzzle board, books, DVDs, and games. Well Equipped Kitchen with Coffee Maker, Stove/Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave. In-Unit Washer/Dryer.

Pros: wonderful 3rd floor location in Ocean Club with fantastic views of the Sound, pier and pool. Spacious 3 bedroom with 2 nice bathrooms with good shower pressure. Lovely porch on the back with nice furniture. Nice beach access which was a short walk across the road.
Cons: No soap (dish or hand soap) anywhere, had to bring own linens and towels (fine but didn't know I needed to bring bath mats). We brought own paper products, detergent, shampoo, etc. based on other reviews. The condo was not clean. Dead roaches in the kitchen, spills all over the fridge inside and out, hair in the bathroom and floors, black mold all over the inside of the shower doors in the master bath. Very dated furniture (fine it is a rental with all original fixtures, appliances). None of the TV's worked which ended up begin fine because we went to a friend's condo to watch the game. We have a ton of friends that own in Ocean Club and they were shocked at the condition of the condo. Great view but a very tired unit with old mattresses, pillows, furniture and bathrooms.
99% of the time we have rented anywhere (worldwide), the rental company or owner supplies the condo with a welcome packet including dish soap, detergent pods, trashbags, coffee packet, bottle of water. Maybe because we were only a holiday weekend rental but it really left us with a bad feeling.
And there are NO instructions for the home...where to put trash/recycle, how to turn on the TV, where are the amenities, located, etc.

It’s a nice place. Good amenities and nice view of the whole sound from a porch for sunset. Our only hiccup was no toilet paper when we arrived. Perhaps we should have known to bring this and we will next time. Bold letters in the check in instructions with: YOU NEED TO BRING TOILET PAPER will help others. Enjoyed it. Thanks.
