About this house rental
Little cabin in the woods! Stay and do not leave, there is plenty to do right on the 2-acre property. Or, explore the many options in the area. We are 30 minutes from Boone, 20 minutes from downtown Banner Elk, 15 minutes from Beech Mountain, and 30 minutes from Sugar Mountain. The Watagua River put in is just up the road, hiking to waterfalls, well-known road biking, Watagua Lake, Buckeye lake and recreation area, and Doe Mountain for dirt bikes and ATVs. The space
Quiet and serene with sounds of Beech Creek. Let your stress melt away! Our quaint and cozy cabin has two bedrooms each with queen beds and a sleeping porch with bunk beds. The living room has a queen pull out couch. Two bathrooms, one with shower and separate jetted bath tub and the other has a shower that is made with river rocks from the creek. There is even a waterfall shower head! The kitchen has all the modern amenities. Breakfast nook and table to fit all guests and work space/desk that has a picture window that looks out over the beautiful front yard. Fiber optic internet makes working from this space a breeze. The deck is expansive and looks over the rushing creek. The best place for morning coffee! Screens on all the doors and windows so that they may stay open to let the fresh mountain breeze in. Picnic table in the yard for brunch, happy hour, or dinner creekside. Huge fire pit with plenty of cozy chairs and loveseat, just right for snuggling. Plenty of space for yard games. We have 100 yards or more of creek frontage so there is plenty of room to explore, fish, or swim.

Please note: We love animals and allow pets, but we do require a pet fee. If you are bringing your pet, please add the fee to your stay. We also do not have trash or recycling service. So we ask our guests to take they’re trash with them, there are many convenience centers in the area to drop it. This is our family vacation home so if you do decide to stay please be kind to it.
