About this apartment rental
Relax in the heart of an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The accommodation
features air conditioning for cooling and heating, a small kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, and a Nespresso machine. A toilet with a sink is located inside the cabin. The shower is located in a separate “bathhouse.” Please note that, despite everything, life in a lakeside cabin is more reminiscent of a sailing or camping vacation, and space inside the cabin is quite limited.
Anyone booking this type of vacation is consciously choosing a minimalist and simple experience—not a luxury vacation. The furnishings of the “Seehaus” lakeside cabin are made of solid wood and were crafted by carpenters from Burgenland and the surrounding region.
Guest access
You can reach the lakeside cabin directly via a wooden walkway without getting your feet wet; no boat is needed to get there.
Additional Important Information
The “Seehaus” chalet is located in the heart of a nature reserve and is surrounded by water and reeds. Slow down from your daily routine, enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful Pannonian landscape of Lake Neusiedl, and discover a place of healing that will recharge your energy. Lake Neusiedl and the historic old town of Rust are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. With this designation, UNESCO recognizes the cultural landscape of Lake Neusiedl as having “outstanding universal value.” Enjoy the tranquility and nature, Lake Neusiedl, and the deliberately simple life surrounded by nature right on the water’s edge.
