This sweet mid century modern home is just minutes from the village of Chester. Only minutes walk to the village of Chester and 45 mins drive from Halifax. Chester is known for it's sailboat regattas and Chester race week every August. It has all the amenities for a family to enjoy . Restaurants, shops, beach, outdoor pool, theatre, playgrounds, golf and Spas. Centrally located on the sought after south shore . The home is nestled in the trees at the end of a private lane . Enjoy a walk on the Chester connect trails at the end of the lane or book a visit at the Nordic spa just down the road. Relax by the firepit at night or coffeee on the deck in this quiet setting. AC, BBQ. This home is handicap accessible with a ramp and walk in shower with seat. Only two small steps to navigate. One level living with in house laundry. World famous Oak Island is just a 15 min drive. Everything you need is here !

Very hot weather and air conditioner broken. Owner tried to fix but no go. Very uncomfortable sleeps. But nice place wonderfully retro decorated. Well stocked with everything needed. Dead air smell at first. Suggest leaving fan on between guests. Liked our stay. John

Host was very responsive and accommodating. Location was central for visiting everything we wanted to see and do and we appreciated having a place to sit and relax in the evenings. No real place to sit outside and enjoy a view, but it’s about a 20-minute walk to Chester waterfront with public benches for watching the sunset over the water. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, except there wasn’t a kettle. Not a huge deal, we boiled water in a pot on the stove to make coffee in the French press every morning. Quiet area but a vehicle is a must for touring the area.
