The hostess/owner Martina was great - so helpful and friendly. She made our stay very enjoyable. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us which we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment in the historical center was perfect for exploring the small but very pretty town of Buonconvento.
Lots of well worn stairs to climb to get to the apartment which wasn't an issue for us but we felt sorry for Martina who very kindly brought our luggage up to the apartment. Also, when the hide-a-bed in the living room is serving as a bedroom then you have to walk through that room to get to the only bathroom. Not an issue for families but a bit awkward for friends traveling together. But overall everything was great.
