Chata Bešeňová

The location was good for maximum 6 persons. Good quiete location. 27km from Jasna and 900m from aqua park. The host was very helpful.

There was no broom and swob. we stayd 8 nights

The location was good - just a minute's walk from the main street where you can find bars and restaurants. I was happy I could bring my dog along. The property has a small covered seating area at the front and some seats in the garden, which are pleasant for sitting outdoors and it was great to have a garden for the dog to play in too. The bathroom was clean and the beds were okay.

The property looked much older and shabbier inside than it did in the pictures. There were dead insects everywhere and no insect screens on the windows. The 'stairs' are an almost vertical ladder basically, so the property absolutely would not be suitale for anyone with reduced mobility, or for anyone with young children or babies. The 'living room' has no sofa, only a single bed to sit on. So we did not feel very able to relax in the evenings as there wasn't really anywhere appropriate to sit. Another issue was that some guests from the main house (which I assume is a penzion) repeatedly came into our private garden and sat on the chairs and let their kids play there when we wanted to eat a leisurely breakfast in our pyjamas on the terasa and let the dog out. So that was a bit awkward, and happened because there isn't any boundary fence around the property, even though it is advertised as private and self contained.
