Very well located Boutique Ama property, very warm host, and well maintainted. Breakfast was limited but was made fresh.

The Bed is horrible, it creaks at the smallest of movements. Imagine the olfactory English 4 posters. It is that. So clearly a celibate weekend then. The room above had wooden floor, so that we could hear when the couple above walked in the room.

Location, spaciousness of rooms, clean, place looks and feels exactly like in the photos. Feels like a home. Staff is very pleasant.

Breakfast area was a small alcove with no fan. Table had no space to comfortably put your legs in. Bathroom should have a towel rail next to the bath area to avoid dripping everywhere. An extra soap for the bath area. More hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom. Review the stock of tea, sugar free etc so that it doesnt run out. AC in the sitting area.

This is an absolute hidden gem of a property. The location is walking distance to all of the best of Fort Kochi whilst still just a few short streets away from the bustle, the property itself is a gorgeous colonial bungalow evoking old world charm, the morning breakfasts change every day and are sublime, the rooms are very large with high ceilings and great air-conditioning. But the jewel in the crown is the supreme service of Akshay and his team. They are omnipresent, always ready to help, imaginative at solving problems and all with an unwavering smile. I fell sick on my last day due to my overly enthiusastic dining practices in town and the team did everything to make sure i was looked after. Despite being at my worst i was never made to feel like an imposition whilst they hurried around, provided whatever i needed, let me stay late till i felt less weak and were the scaffold i needed when ill in a foreign country. That cements one's trust in a way no amount of google reviews or conde nast articles ever could do.

There's a wedding venue nearby that if you arrive in the evenings on a weekend you may worry about the noise. But don't fret, it's all closed up and quiet by 10pm.

The breakfast and food options were limited and honestly very ordinary. Being a Taj property they have to improve this. The fridge and kitchen was poorly stocked. Had to insta mart items each time we needed it.

For the price - the rooms were good. However, given the heritage tag, the living and common areas could be done better. Poor interiors with such beautiful furniture on the property. Get an expert to do it up.
