Perfect Stay for a Budget

Very friendly and helpfull staff Great Location only about 20 min till we were in the centre very calm property clean rooms big area good breakfast, buffet style even bigger than we thought for that price

Nice localisation near to lake side, swimming pool and kids zone entertainment free for hostel quests, there are towels in the room, data on the. Booking website are not updated appropriate, but we got more than offered, WiFi working.

Rooms are spartan just as hostel type, beds only, furniture in romm was a bit overused, inside style is form previous age however they are under renovation, breakfast varieties at minimum but tasty

Bad

The reservation was properly carried out and payment by credit card. I did not receive any messages or information. Arriving at the hotel, I didn't find anyone or anyone answering phone calls or intercom bells. Very unpleasant experience and carelessness for the guest. I had to look for another hotel to stay the night. Luckily I was able to find a hotel nearby despite good occupancy during Easter. This behavior is not appropriate in tourism anywhere, and especially not in Austria.

Great value for money

Great location, looking out on to the lake, 20 minute walk to Velden, well lit at night. Fantastic value for money compared to other hotels in the area. The swimming pool was very nice, good size, great view. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only downside was the mattresses and pillows, which were not very comfortable. But can't complain for the price and location!

Great and big private lake entrance, good breakfast and comfy rooms. Best value for money you will find in the area. Very close to the centre of Velden and the staff is amazingly friendly!

Fijne eerste ervaring met een hostel

We konden last minute terecht als tussenstop tussen Kroatië en zuid Duitsland. De locatie is prachtig aan de Worthersee en we zijn iets gaan eten in Velden. Wat overigens een leuke dorp/stad is. De kamer was schoon, bedden opgemaakt en we hadden een gedeelde badkamer/toilet met een andere kamer. En allemaal een setje handdoeken. Het ontbijt was prima voor een hostel en het personeel zeer vriendelijk. Er zijn verschillende faciliteiten waar je gebruik van mag maken.

Preiswerter Kurzurlaub mit optimaler Lage am See!

Das Personal beim Frühstück war außerordentlich freundlich. Die Lage ist exklusiv! Direkter Seezugang, großflächiges Freizeitareal, private Steganlage, gute Erreichbarkeit und Nähe zu touristischen Attraktionen in der Umgebung ist optimal. Das Haus beherbergt unterschiedliche Interessensgruppen und Menschen - das ist begrüßenswert und zeigt für viel Verständnis und Bemühungen um Integration und Inklusion - bravo!

Unser Empfang bei der Ankunft: Rezeptionistin steht zigarettenrauchend vor der Eingangstür. Insgesamt ist es bedenklich, wenn der Eingangsbereich einer "Jugendbeherbung" so gestaltet ist, dass die Raucherzone für Gäste und MitarbeiterInnen direkt vor der Eingangstüre ist! Gesamteindruck: das Haus (besonders die Einrichtung) ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Schade - mit etwas mehr Aufwand könnte man es nett und modern gestalten. Die Betten sind auf Rollvorrichtungen, um sie als Doppelbett oder Einzelbetten benützbar zu machen: leider wurde dabei vergessen, auch jene Bereiche des Bodens und des Nachttischbereiches zu reinigen, der darunter liegt und beim Verschieben zutage tritt. Das Schlüsselsystem ist zu hinterfragen: man benötigt die Schlüsselkarte, wenn man innerhalb des eigenen Wohnbereiches auf die Toilette geht, um wieder ins eigene Zimmer zurück zu kommen (Vergabe der Wohneinheit an nicht miteinander bekannten Personen ist nicht sowieso nicht mehr zeitgemäß!). Die Stiegenabgänge zum Wasser waren total rutschig, weil von Algen beschmutzt. Das gehört aus Sicherheitsgründen TÄGLICH gereinigt. Ebenso wirken die Gehwege im Außenbereich sehr ungepflegt.

Objednali jsme si pokoj s oddělenými jednolůžkovými postelemi, tak jsme předpokládali dvě postele vedle sebe a dostali jsme dvoupatrovou postel. Nepříjemné zjištění. Matrace nepohodlné.

War mit allem zufrieden, idealer Ausgangspunkt.

Frühstück war gut und ausreichend , für jeden etwas dabei. Zimmer war etwas klein. Lage ist Top. Konnte am nächsten Tag ausgeruht weiterreisen. Für Motorradreisen optimal. Würde hier wieder übernachten.

Abens ein paar mal das laute Türenzuschlagen, aber dafür kann das Hostel nichts.

Katastrophe!!

Wir haben den Urlaub nach 10 Minuten abgebrochen. Ohne das man es beim buchen gesehen hat war es eine gemeinschafts dusche und wir hätten ein Zimmer bekommen mit 2 stockbetten und einem einzel bett wir sind aber eine Ehepaar und ein kind. Die Bilder sind ja sehr schön dennoch war vor Ort nicht viel davon zu sehen. Es wurde auch geschrieben das es einen innen pool gibt. Gibt es auch aber benutzen darf man ihn wegen schwimmkurs erst von 18-21 Uhr. Darüber wurden wir nirgends informiert. Somit haben wir abgebrochen und haben uns ein anderes Hotel gesucht.
