GRANDE VILLA TIZZANO A 200 M DE LA PLAGE 18 PERS

This apartment is a definitely worth checking - especially for country-side lovers. - A spacious apartment (one of three) in a house on a hillside. - Quite a nice view of the sea and the surrounding area. - A fairly large and well-maintained garden. - Access to sun loungers, garden chairs and similar facilities. - When it turned out that there had been a misunderstanding and our car (considering we wanted to use the place mainly as a base for day trips) was not suitable for driving up and down the gravel road several times a day, the host kindly cancelled our booking (6 out of 7 nights) so that we could look for another place.

These are not major drawbacks, but worth mentioning – they might matter to some travelers. - The listing on Booking stated “entire home” (and 200 M DE LA PLAGE 18 PERS) but in reality it was an apartment (one of three). In our case there were no other guests, but it’s worth keeping in mind that the property may be shared with others. - It’s important to check which unit you are booking – the apartment we stayed in did not have air conditioning. - We received the keys from people in contact with an intermediary, who then coordinated with the host while the keys were left in a lockbox with instructions on how to open it. This arrangement felt somewhat unusual and a bit unsettling. - On the day of check-in, we found out that the apartment was located in a different spot than the pin shown on the Booking listing. The host promised to correct this information. - At the time of writing this review, the location has been updated, but it’s worth noting that the apartment is located outside Tizzano – about a 15-minute drive along a gravel road ending with a fairly steep uphill to the property. - It didn’t really bother us, but the apartment is a bit older, with some furniture and décor that could benefit from a light refresh. - There were quite a few ants in the bedroom. The exterior windowsills had been sprinkled with powder to keep them away, but it didn’t seem to be very effective.
