Very quiet with a great location in close proximity to the walnut creek marina.

Check-in was okay. No problems even though it was remote. However, the room smelled of mildew. Everything was clean but it still smelled bad. We stayed because we had nowhere else to go and it was almost 9:00 p.m. Took a very long time to get hot water up in the shower. The beds were hard as a rock which is okay if you like that. We took allergy pills and stuck it out until 6:00 a.m.

This is billed as an inexpensive, no-frills motel and it is certainly that. There is no staff, they email you a code to open the door. The room was OK but when I dropped something on the floor I noticed it was very dirty beneath the bed. The room could use a deep clean. Linens were fine, however, and I did sleep well. Other guests were all staying to fish on Lake Erie nearby and were very cordial.

So roomy. No frills but more good things than you would expect from a way more expensive fancy hotel. Slept great too. Entry to room by way of a code mailed to you to get in and never have to interact with anyone. So fast, simple, clean and complete. Great stay.

We stayed 2 nights. It was very cozy and warm. Check-in was a little different, but good none the less. What made it different was when we pulled up, there was no office in operation, the parking lot was dark and many of the lights were out. I felt unsafe at first. Once we called the number the owner had listed, he gave us a code to dial into the keypad and we got in with no problem. I was surprised at how spacious, clean and well kept it was, and for such a reasonable price. Our room wasn't fancy. It had the basics; including a large fridge, a sink, a full size oven with a small microwave in the kitchenette. The room also had a nice size bathroom, 2 double beds, a small lamp, a few outlets, and a TV with cable and Netflix. We also had wi-fi. If we needed anything we just had to call a number and it would be taken care of. It snowed quite a bit during our stay and the parking lot was plowed a couple times daily. Checking out was easy for us because we pre-paid on line with no surprise fees. There was no key to turn in, we just simply had to lock the door behind us and go on our way. We would gladly go back. ***"Oh, the owner told us to go directly to their site to get the best price. You don't need any other sites to book here."

The stay was good. The beds aren't as comfortable as I would've hoped, my hips are killing me. But other than that the stay was great. It was nice having a decent kitchenette to cook my own meals and it was nice having the ability to go outside without all the hallways and room keys.

It's a little dated, and towels could be a little less rough and warn. Beds were ok, plenty of space. Easy check in and there was no need to check with anyone. Code emailed and you are in. It was an ok place to rest our heads.

This place was a dump! Bed linens were dirty. Bathroom was dirty. The room smelled horrible. Do not waste your money or time!

Nice less expensive option. It is a no frills accommodation. It was nice having the small kitchen so we did not have to eat out for all of our meals. We would stay there again.

Well, I'm glad our stay here was short. We were looking forward to the kitchenette and we'd read a review stating this was a hidden gembut I have to disagree. I wasn't expecting anything amazing but this place needs a lot of work. First of all, the floors were filthy. The first thing my kids did was take their shoes off and within minutes their feet were black. It was disgusting. There were cobwebs on the ceilings and the towels were worn so thin you could see through them in places. There was a coffee maker but the cord was so short that in order to plug it in, we had to put the coffee maker in the sink. I'm thankful at least that the sheets were clean but needless to say we were glad to leave.

I would stay at this place again but i just have some complaints. The room layout is weird, the shower is strong and gets the bathroom completely wet(the head of shower couldnt be adjusted).i just had a problem checking in but it was solved super quickly and had a wonderful person to talk to.
