Location. Hot tub. Comfortable beds.

Dining room was almost a building site. No lighting. Screw on floor. Hanging wire. Unplastered ceiling. Had to ask for standing light to make the room useable. Very disappointing for an essential room for celebrating a birthday meal. Host should have warned about the state of that room. Other disappointments included a) stiff door to bathroom which was difficult for an adult to open and impossible for children b) Running cistern in downstairs bathroom c) Lack of typical essentials e.g. dishwasher tablets and spare toilet roll.
