Adventure abounds in this home with magnificent Smoky Mountains views! Upon arriving, you and your family will discover many fun amenities including a light-up shuffleboard, a corn hole set, a two-player arcade system with 3300 games, a private hot tub, and a telescope for viewing the stars off the large deck overlooking the mountains. (Be sure to keep a lookout for any wildlife that may be passing by to say hello!)
This stunning home has all new furnishings, including a large sectional in the living room, complete with an electric fireplace to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. For the younger guests, this home is furnished with a playpen, highchair, child's step stool, childproof plug protectors on all outlets, and child safety gates. The open-concept kitchen makes cooking a breeze amongst the stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. Gather around the table in the dining room and enjoy a nice home-cooked meal after a full day of sightseeing in nearby Pigeon Forge. If you'd prefer to grill, you are all set with a four-burner propane grill.
The primary bedroom is on the main floor, and the upstairs bedroom has two beds and a walk-in shower. The loft provides an additional sleeping space with twin bunk beds. Home was in good condition. Loved the deck and the natural light from all the windows! Saw a bear on the first afternoon of our stay, but sadly didn’t see many more. Home was close to everything we wanted to do and was a nice, quiet retreat from busy downtown Pigeon Forge.Some inconveniences existed during our stay - grill was not in a usable condition, upstairs shower door leaked onto the floor outside shower. Maintenance responded quickly to replace caulking. NEEDS a bear (and raccoon) proof trash can! Would suggest keeping trash inside during your stay until a bear proof trash system is in place.

Loved the deck, natural lighting from windows, and layout of the home! Saw a bear on the first afternoon of our stay, but sadly didn’t see any after that. Needs a bear proof trash receptacle! Bears were around, we just didn’t see them. Close to everything we wanted to do, yet far enough away from busy downtown Pigeon Forge. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was dirty when we arrived and had not been cleaned yet. Our check in was at 4:00 and we arrived at 4:00. We called the number on the refrigerator and it went to a non-emergency medical response company. I had to log in to the app to find the correct number. They informed us they would dispatch a cleaning crew. The cleaning crew showed up and said they would be done in an hour and that they were told check in was at 5:30. Regardless, an hour to clean the house is not enough time. When we got back, it was picked up and bedding changed but comforters didn't get washed, bath mats were soaking wet from the previous guests and the blankets on the couches hadn't been cleaned. I spent the next few hours doing laundry so that I knew what I was using was clean. There weren't any extra trash bags for the kitchen trash but thankfully we had one with us. Overall, it just felt dirty.The second morning we were there we were awakened by a smoke alarm chirping a low battery. We had to call and request for someone to come out and change it since all the ceilings are vaulted. It took about three hours to get the batteries changed. Everyone we contacted was very pleasant and polite. The vrbo comped us a meal as an apology for the house not being ready which was nice. However, the first day was stressful and not enjoyable since we spent time cleaning and doing laundry. The house is modern and spacious and the location was fantastic. The area is quiet and beautiful.
