About this cottage rental

Relax on the James River in this one bedroom getaway with access to the river and picnic table. This lovely place has a kitchen and one big bathroom with a shower. Big screen tv with DVD player. 2 kayaks available to use while staying. paddles and life vest. Great summer getaway, James River State Park 7 miles down the river, a little store just a half a mile up the road. House has ac, fridge, a gas stove and sink. Kitchen is stocked up with plates and stuff.
Gas grill outside the back door.
Covered Gazebo with dining area right outside the house. Two lounge chairs to relax from a day fishing and kayaking on the river.
Cell service is not the greatest in this area. Verizon works great.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Just right for 2 ….. walked along the river (didn’t have time for the kayaks I’m afraid…). Sat out side under the patio in the back…. super quiet. Ran the quiet country road in the morning. Very comprehensive kitchen set up….hot showers and the best towels ever. Not bougie….very homey. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for what we need. We felt like we were at our Grandmas house. A few things (electrically) need updates for safety sake. Sheets and towels were so soft. Nice outdoor are.stove&fridoutdooroutdoorarea.ffack!
