Our family and dog-friendly cabin features a hot tub, outdoor dining, and firepit for cozy nights. The fenced side yard allows your dogs to run off leash. We are nestled in the valley along the New River in Todd, NC. Enjoy kayaking, tubing, fishing, paddleboarding, or canoeing right out the front door by using some provided equipment (kayaks, fishing poles, tubes) or by visiting Wahoo Adventures right across the river. We are 15 minutes to Boone and less than 30 minutes to Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. You will find great breweries and restaurants in nearby towns. With just a short drive you can access all the adventures the mountains have to offer including skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, scenic overlooks, etc.
There is a driveway in the back you can access from the neighborhood directly behind the cabin with ample parking. You can also park in the front driveway but it is a bit steep, there is a limited turn around at the top. During winter months, AWD or 4WD may be required.
The river is located across the road. Most of the traffic is from local tubing/kayaking companies. There are several outfitters located along the river and at times the river can get busy with tubers and kayakers. You may enjoy sitting on the back porch or on the bench along the river watching people go by. The river is typically quiet by 6pm on those busy days.

We loved staying here. River view and access is great. The cabin and property is spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 4 and our dog. Would definitely recommend!

The property was perfect. It was clean and so comfortable. Super pet friendly and had everything we needed. This cabin is one of the best cabins we have stayed in. The host was absolutely the best!!!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin is rustic, relaxing, and has a great location. We enjoyed the fire pit, corn hole, hot tub, game and book collection, and the view from the porch.
