Family fun or private hide away on old Abe Lake!

Nice little place old but nice location on the river. The place needs some work none of the doors close right you have to slam them. So every time you close the door you wake someone up. The propane grill is junk and I had to go refill the propane it was empty. Now the huge problem the neighbor the neighbor's house is a crap hole literally a dump. Garbage all over the yard vehicles torn apart up front garage doors missing and it smells like a landfill absolutely disgusting.

Worked amazing for my wife and I, our 3 boys and our yellow lab! Great size, great communication!

We had 4 generations in our group and everyone was happy. Gary was an excellent host. The property was wonderful and the swimming off the dock was great. Kayacks were great! Well set up. Thoughful little extras available if needed, example wasp spray etc. (Didnt need though). Lots of firewood to use. Beds were comfortable! Great place!

This property was immaculately clean inside!! It’s a perfect size for 6-7 people. 2 large sitting/living room areas, a table that seats 6 people and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and cooking utensils. It sits on the shore of the Chippewa River and has a beautiful view of the water. There are two docks. The host was great at communication and responsive to our needs. There are two fire pits outside, lots of chairs, tables and outdoor seating on the lake side. This property is very nice. The bathroom is a little questionable and needs some TLC, but that is the only minor improvement I would suggest.
