About this house rental
This lovely , historic, Spanish Colonial home was written about by Jane Loew in her book "Out of the Limelight". It offers you 1895 sq ft of comfort, space and luxury. There are two full bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a pull out couch. The kitchen has a full fridge, stove, and a multitude of small appliances so you can prepare your own meals or snacks.
It also has a laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer to make longer stays as comfortable as possible.
The home is only a mile from the Villiage of Tubac. The Villiage offers shops, art galleries, a variety of food services, unique hand crafted items and frequently hosts festivals.
The rural countryside is a dream for bird-watchers, hikers, photographers, authors, and those who just want to escape city life. It has been a sanctuary for many people including stars from Paramount pictures and MGM.
The house is within driving distance of several historical sites, shopping areas and only 45 minutes from Tucson airport.
If you want the best of all world's this is an ideal get away.

Absolutely fabulous house and host! So beautifully and artistically decorated, clean, comfy beds, wonderful showers with plenty of hot water, a bathtub, a nice living room and awesome kitchen. My favorite part however, was the stone veranda with a view of the surrounding mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee sitting out there in the morning, and a spot of bourbon at the end of the day. If you love birds, this is also going to be paradise for you. The small trees and shrubs surrounding the porch are full of them in the morning. It's peaceful, private, and filled with light. There are lots of fun shops and art galleries in the town of Tubac, as well as delightful restaurants and cafes. (We were told that in the hot summer months many of those businesses close down, so check before you go.) We love to hike and there was plenty of it in the area. Saguaro National Park was my favorite. All in all, this house provided us exactly what we were looking for.... A peaceful oasis in a beautiful place.

A very nice property. The mezquite trees hide the Mountain View, but hold a wide variety of birds, if you care to fill the drain dishes provided. Linda is a great host. She is responsive to questions, but otherwise is invisible. The house (more like a villa) has a well stocked kitchen, is full of Mexican tile and has a fabulous veranda, which is cool on hot days. A very restful place.

Linda was so responsive prior and during our stay. The location of the place offers privacy but is still close enough to downtown to make it convenient.
