This beautifully upgraded top-floor "penthouse" suite boasts one of the best one-bedroom locations available at Honua Kai. Enjoy gorgeous partial ocean views from the balcony and primary bedroom as well as beautiful views of the lush West Maui Mountains. The suite has also been tastefully updated with brand-new artwork, TVs, and furniture, including a comfortable king mattress, couch, and sofa sleeper mattress.
Its southern exposure provides more natural light and less direct wind, creating the perfect balance for Hawaiian air conditioning in addition to the refreshing central air conditioning.
The suite's generous layout can comfortably sleep up to four guests, with a king bed in the primary bedroom and a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living area. The elegant bathroom features a separate glass shower, or you may wish to relax with a soak in the tub as the day fades into a tranquil tropical evening.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the fully-appointed kitchen. We have provided every appliance & utensil to concoct the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine in the climate-controlled air conditioning. BEAUTIFUL property with a great view. What an absolute treat for my family's week in Maui. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The furnishings were all comfortable and the kitchen was great! WiFi and TVs worked well.The resort was wonderful. The pools, the waterslide, the general store, beach access were all a delight. We would totally stay here again in a heartbeat and plan to make this the first property we check on any return trips to Maui!Very minor nags: We wished the stove would heat up faster. It took 30 minutes to get to 375F. The A/C wasn't working on our first night, but it was a building issue that was fixed by mid-day of day 2. Property management was on top of it and quick to communicate with us.A note about the major tsunami warning and evacuation that occurred during our stay. As tourists, we were frightened and unsure of what action to take during this emergency. The property staff and the management company did a great job of constantly communicating with us throughout the duration of the emergency. They made an uncomfortable situation easier to deal with as guests and we're thankful for that.Bottom line is that this is a premium VRBO/Maui experience for anyone looking for a family friendly and beautiful resort. Totally worth the asking price.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed in this condo. We love it. It is a perfect place to stay in Maui. Setup is great for 4 ppl. The only issue we had was a stopped toilet. That we had to wait over night to get fixed bc there wasn’t a plunger. If any issues overnight they may be delayed until morning when the private staff comes in at 9.
