About this house rental
This spacious 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom home has everything you'll need to enjoy a fun filled or relaxing time near one of Des Moines most entertaining neighborhoods. Enjoy the large two-tiered patio in the fully fenced backyard, spend time in the spacious interior perfect for families or groups complete with game and exercise rooms, go out and visit the restaurants/bars/shops/parks within only a few minutes walk, or take a short drive to one of the many other exciting areas nearby.
With over 1,500 sf to enjoy, this home provides ample space to unwind and relax or to spend an entertaining time with friends and family. Tons of windows and natural lighting make this home bright and welcoming, and the room darkening shades give you the ability to allow just the right amount of light in for however you're feeling. Two of the bedrooms have king sized beds with king sized pillows, the third bedroom has a queen size mattress, and a pull out sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space to accommodate the entire crew. Their is a full bathroom on the main floor, and the upstairs bedroom includes a 3/4 private bathroom / en-suite (tub, toilet, and sink) and a walk-in closet. A fully stocked kitchen, equipped with a gas oven, provides for all of your basic needs allowing you to cook up your favorite dishes. A reverse osmosis (RO) system has also been installed to supply high quality water anytime that is great for drinking or cooking. A formal dining room just off of the kitchen provides a great place to eat as a group or serves as a great place to play games. The living room has a large smart TV with reliable hardwired internet access allowing you to watch your favorite shows on your favorite streaming services. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the breakfast nook area with seating or take it outside on the large two-tier back patio. The space is family friendly and has accommodations for children including step stool, baby gate, kid-friendly plates/cups/utensils, and more. The game room is a great place to entertain both kids and adults as it has a ping-pong table, foosball table, table top hockey, and pop-shot basketball with all necessary balls, paddles, pucks, etc included. There is also an exercise area with free weights and an exercise bike so you can get a workout in without leaving the home. The basement laundry room includes a washer and dryer available for guest use, as well as a 1/2 bathroom. An ADA ramp for the front step is available to be installed prior to guests stay upon request. There is a private double wide driveway for guests use that provides four off-street parking spaces, with on-street parking available as well. Please do not park directly across the street between the "No Parking Here to Corner" signs as this area is not intended for parking.
Located just blocks from shops, restaurants, bars, grocers, and convenience stores in the Historic Valley Junction 5th St and the 4th & Grand corridors, this home offers tremendous walkability to explore the neighborhood without the need for loading up in the car each time you head out for entertainment.
Alternatively, the area is also very bike friendly for those who would like to explore the area faster due to the amount of bike trails in the immediate area. If you'd like to explore outside of Valley Junction, interstate access is only minutes away and can get you almost anywhere in the Des Moines metro within 15 minutes.

The kitchen was amazing. Had everything we needed. The game room was amazing and my whole family enjoyed it. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and communication was amazing

The home is lovely, the location perfect. The house is well-equipped and the beds are comfy. Low archways and stairway ceilings were tough on the tallest of us, but we enjoyed our stay in this home thoroughly.

We enjoyed our stay. They have done a good job getting the most out of a smaller footprint adding an upstairs apartment bedroom area. Would suggest an update to the deck area in back, but Very clean, comfortable beds and host was easy to work with.

Its in a great neighborhood and get anywhere in 15 min. Great patio for dining outside and Valley Junction is great area. We enjoyed ourselves
