This was our first time visit going the Outer Banks. It was early September, after Labor Day, which is our favorite time to visit the beach. The house is beautiful- the yard, th pool, the hot tub, perfect! It was very clean and very close to the beach (less than a 5 minute walk to the ocean) the beach was beautiful, but rough during our visit. The town of Duck is adorable with great shopping and a good variety of restaurants to choose from. We especially loved the ample space in the house and the many porches to enjoy. The only thing we would have loved more was some more sunny days! We went to Corolla and saw the wild horses and to Nags Head to ride horses on the beach. All in all a fabulous week! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the house and pool and access to the beach. The kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was excellent for both younger children and adults.
Beach access was fairly close. Renting a beach caddy might be helpful. Although the house came with parking passes for near beach access we felt we were too close to use them. We were a short bike ride or longish walk to the Duck boardwalk. All in all this was n excellent location and lovely home for a family vacation.
