谷園酒店公寓Good Garden Apartment

The location is great. Less than a ten minute walk from Lalaport mall and Taichung Station. About a 25 minute walk to NCHU. Most importantly, it’s only a five minute walk to Zhongxiao night market. There are so many food options there. I ate there often. Also, there is a clean laundromat on the next block if you don’t like to hang dry your clothes. It was easy enough to wash clothes at the apartment then walk them over to the dryer. I walk a lot, so I can’t really speak to the proximity to important bus lines. The few times I did need to catch a bus somewhere I didn’t need to go far to the bus stop. Being close to Taichung Station is obviously great. I originally rented here for a month, thinking that I would find somewhere cheaper. I liked it enough to stay for three months, for my entire quarter at NCHU.

I was on the first floor and sometimes you could hear people coming in and out of the lobby. I don’t think that is a problem on the other floors.
