Andrea is a very friendly guest. The location of the house is excellent with a great swimming pool. Excellent recommandations from Andrea to visit the region.

The cabin of the shower is rather narrow, smaller as compared to the standard size.

For a calm stay with a family

Lovely place. It's clean, tidy, the pool is surrounded by 100-year-old olive trees, location good for discovering both - Umbria and Toscana. The host is very hospitable and friendly. We will definitely come back with our family next year. I recommend it for a quiet family vacation.

In general we had a very good stay at Il Porto and would highly recommend it!

The 3 bedroom apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 5 to cook, do laundry, etc. for 10 days. The pool was great because the weather was unusually hot for late June/early July and we used it to cool off. Also the area by the pool is nice and has some shade for relaxing, reading, etc. Andrea was very nice and helpful. There was a binder with recommendations and resources for the area which was great.

It was quite hot in the second floor apartment without A/C and there were no screens in the windows so we had to wait till we turned out all the lights at night to let the cooler air in (otherwise mosquitos came in). The fans were helpful.

Wonderful holiday very friendly and helpful owner and a lovely spot to relax and enjoy.

This is a wonderful quiet place with beutiful gardens which are immaculatly kept by the very friendly owner. The rooms are very well kept and we arrived to a complementary bottle of wine and other goodies. If your from UK or Ireland then there is just 1 channel on the TV but its such a pretty town why would you be stuck infront of a TV. There are 2 decent grocery stores nearby and some wonderful restaurants and bars. The best part is its still not too touristy.

The shuttle bus link from the airport to the train station is not well signposted and very intermittant. A taxi is €38 which is a bit much considering the distance.

Excellent and cozy place for a stay/vacation in Umbria

Andrea is a very hospitable and friendly host, we had excellent communication before and during our stay in Il Porto. He is there every day and ready to help with everything. The apartment is large and cozy - a large fully equipped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 2 huge bathrooms (one with a bathtub), one small bedroom for one kid/adult (without window), and a living room with kamin. High ceilings. Good mattresses, pillows, linen. A lot of spare blankets/pillows in closets. A lot of different glasses, mugs, dishes, etc. All is clean and ready to use. Strengh WiFi signal. Private parking is located in the courtyard, actually, in the garden between olives and plum trees. (the entry is a bit tight, and can be difficult for very large cars and/or inexperienced drivers) A pool with sun beds in front of the building (unfortunately, was not actual for us at the end of September). A gazebo with a table and chairs in the garden. Grill. There were also guests in other apartments, but we did not hear them. So we really enjoyed our stay in Il Porto, Andrea, thank you a lot.

There are no nets on windows, and as a result - a lot of insects inside the rooms.

Pool area and bbq, size of apartment, location, surrounding area and the service from andrea made it very good value for money.

The apartment furniture could be updated a little, especially the sofa/chairs in the living area and the beds, the pillows were quite firm. It would also be a real help to have a dishwasher when you have several adults staying.

just what i had hoped for!

Andrea is a special host, very helpful and accomodating - if i was in the area again i would definitely contact him again

my only very minor issues were a) the lack of a microwave to reheat food and b) the heat in this apartment without air con so i struggled to sleep but it was 30+ degrees outside and the apartment was so well built that it obviously ensured the heat remained within the walls

Everything was good!

The location was quiet. The owner came by every day to look after the property. He cleaned the pool every day and was pleasant and friendly. We could walk to the town and the supermarket.

Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Andrea, die direct de tijd nam om ons een rondleiding te geven. Het appartement was schoon, ruim en smaakvol ingericht, met als extra pluspunt directe toegang tot het zwembad – ideaal voor een verfrissende duik. Alles was goed onderhouden en netjes. . Al met al een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de mooie omgeving.

De douchecabine was aan de krappe kant, maar dat was voor ons geen groot probleem.

Świetny apartament z basenem, w cichej okolicy. W apartamencie jest wszystko czego można potrzebować podczas urlopu. Miły gospodarz przywitał nas butelką wina. Cudowny basen który daje ochłodę w upalny dzień. Jedyny minus to zbyt ciasna łazienka, ale nie wpływa to na ogólną ocenę tego obiektu. Jest świetny. Polecam!

Relax, natura e accoglienza perfetta.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida casa tipica di Tuoro e ne siamo rimasti incantati. L’appartamento era pulitissimo, curato in ogni dettaglio e dotato di tutto il necessario per sentirsi a casa. La mattina è un vero piacere svegliarsi con il canto degli uccellini e affacciarsi su un giardino meraviglioso, perfetto per iniziare la giornata con tranquillità. La posizione è davvero comoda se si viaggia in macchina: in pochi minuti si raggiungono le principali città e borghi dei dintorni. Un luogo ideale per chi cerca relax, autenticità e natura. Consigliatissimo.
