I had a wonderful stay at the Vintage Guest House in Varanasi. The staff and the family who run the place are exceptionally hospitable and make you feel truly at home from the moment you arrive. The food deserves a special mention — freshly home-cooked, delicious, and made with genuine care. They are very attentive to guests’ needs and go out of their way to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. A special thanks to Vishal, who was extremely helpful throughout my visit and made the experience even more memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, authentic stay in Varanasi.

Rooms could have been equipped with a TV.

The room was lovely with a great shower. The owner was excellent with great communication and arranged our airport transfers.

Whilst the room was lovely, the communal areas could do with some tweaks. We chose the property for the roof terrace, but there were no chairs to sit on up there. The main communal area was really odd, with some plastic chairs and two beds, where people were often asleep. It felt like staff lived in the communal area so we didn’t feel comfortable there. Between that and the terrace, the only place to relax was the room.
