Hartlepool festival visit.

The property was well equipped and comfortable. We liked the layout. The location was convenient for us.

The ensuite smelt a little stale. The property would have benefitted from some minor repairs.

Lovely house

Lovely little house, great base for us whilst visiting family, clean and comfortable, everything you would need, lovely hosts.

Only a minor thing, the sofa nearest the balcony feels broken when you sit on it so would personally replace but otherwise no issues at all.

Absolutely perfect! Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Very spacious for 6 adults staying here. Everything was very clean and set out nicely. Provided us with towels, Wi-Fi password etc. The staff were excellent with communication and answering our questions. The location was amazing, right on the marina, with parking outside, brewers fayre just outside and a 5 minute walk to plenty of shops, bars, restaurants etc. The neighbourhood is also nice and quiet so it was nice to sit on the balcony at night taking in the views of the marina. We all said we would 100% stay here again and have already recommended this property to our family and friends.

It was a little creaky and could hear people’s conversations throughout the house so there wasn’t as much privacy as some people may like. However, this was a family trip so this didn’t bother us at all. But that is the only thing that could potentially be improved about the property but not an issue at all.

Great place to stay for short or long trip. Location was ideal. Eight minutes walk from the train station. A few minutes

I liked having the whole house. I was travelling with an adult child so there were only two of us so we had more room than we really needed, but it was nicer than getting two Hotel rooms. We were only there for a few nights, so we didn’t really make much use of the kitchen, but I could see the potential for making full meals and having a nice dining room to eat in. We did enjoy having a lounge for the evening to watch TV.. It was spacious and comfortable..

I guess the only negative was there was a big stain on the stair carpet but everything else was fine.

Perfect spot!

Wonderful hosts, lovely area for walking, and the most convenient location I could have imagined! With everything from grocery, to restaurants, to a movie theater, to a mall within walking distance, I did not need to rent a car and was able to reach everything I needed for my stay.

Lack of starting supplies like rubbish liners/paper towels (unless I missed them); spiral stairs connecting the 3 floors wouldn't be good for someone who can't do lots of stairs

A perfect home from home

I was born in Hartlepool now living in the South and we visit family a few times a year. We traveled with our daughter, partner and two grandsons age 9 & 3 to stay in the house over Christmas. Our grandsons could not believe we had the whole house( three floors) they loved their bedroom and being so close to our extended family and the sea kept them happily entertained and they slept well. The house had everything a home should have and despite the cold weather it was warm and cosy. We all felt totally at home and the hosts Stephen and Geri were available to us at all times ensuring we were happy with all aspects of our stay and kindly let us extend our stay to spend more time with our extended family members. We look forward to returning again in the near future.

Perfect stay in a beautiful townhouse - highly recommended

This is a gorgeous house, overlooking the marina. The kitchen is full-equipped with all modern appliances, the beds are very comfortable. The linen and abundance of fresh towels were also much appreciated. Very clean and tidy. The sitting room contained two very comfy sofas and large TV with a vast array of channels to choose from. We had no issues with any facilities which meant no need to contact the hosts. The digital door code entry system worked perfectly. We had a fantastic stay and, for anyone visiting the Hartlepool area (and there are a lot of beautiful places to visit, including the Headlands, Seaham and other pretty towns and villages), this is the ideal base for you. We would be very happy to visit again, thank you for a great stay!
