Very pleasant staying

The dinner and breakfast were awesome, over my expectations. I think, everyone can choose from variety of dishes, everyone can enjoy from quality and taste of meals. The room was in renovated building, so, everything was clean, comfortable and usable. The staff is very polite, helpful and careful.

we were really disappointed with our stay

Only the location

The reception was operating only until 7 PM, and the waiter was the one waiting for us to check in. We were not informed that the main reception and the main entrance of the building would be closed at 11:00 PM. We had to find an alternative entrance ourselves. As it was the opening of the season, the prices were very high, yet the service did not match the cost. We didn’t even have basic amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, a minibar, or glasses for drinking water. Although the hotel is rated as a 4-star property, the room was extremely basic and did not meet expectations. Breakfast was acceptable until the waiter told us we needed to leave because breakfast ended at 9:30 AM and that we should move to the lobby. There was no polite explanation or assistance offered just a request for us to leave, which is unacceptable. You can close the breakfast service, but you should not ask guests to leave their table before they have finished. We asked for the taxi before checking out and the answer we got the taxi doesn’t enter in the area and you have to walk at the roundabout to check for the taxi and we didn’t see any of it. We had to walk to the train station in cold 1.4 km with luggage in our hand meanwhile there was road behind the hotel. Communication with the staff was also very difficult, as their English level was far below basic. Overall, we were really disappointed with our stay.

The breakfast and you can pack yourself a lunch, free drinks all day for reasonable amount of money. Great stuff and great location if with a little kid.

There is no lunch in the "all-inclusive" not even an option to eat a lunch in the hotel.

Perfect location, nice hotel

The hotel is well located - directly across the street from the cable car to Planai (a card included in the price, that allows you to have one up/down ride free of charge in the surrounding resorts per day), a supermarket right in the hotel building, approx. 100 m from the hotel pedestrian zone with restaurants and shops. We had quite spacious room for 2 adults and 2childre with one doublebed and two bunk beds. The food is perfect - breakfast is the same every day, but the offer was wide enough. As part of the half board, it is possible to pack a snack for a day trip (+ there is a soup at noon and afternoon coffee in the hotel, but we did not try). Dinner rich, all food was perfect. Drinks are included in the price (wine, beer, soft drinks - you can tap everything yourself in the restaurant, or ask for other drinks at the bar). There is a small pool on the inner terrace of the hotel - if there aren't too many people, you can do a few laps in it, otherwise it's more just for cooling off after a hike. All staff were very helpful. Parking is possible in underground garages, but for 9 EUR per day.

Air-thin pillows, WiFi incredibly slow (1mbps up & down) in our room despite the access point being directly outside our room. In the lobby the internet was 20mbps, breakfast quite basic.

room were not clean , carpet smells really bad, hotel is very noisy, walls are really thin so you can hear all your neighbors, breakfast we came at 9:00 at it was almost nothing to eat they did not filled in what was already eated.

Amazing food quality - 5 stars!!! Amazing cooker in the restaurant!!! Very professional....but restaurant looks like a cantine / all inclusive style...Great location! Friendly and very professional reception and hotel staff!... but room did not meet expectations ( 5 stars for foid quality, 5 stars for staff .. but 2 stars for room size .... we had double room with extra bed for child... the child bed was located in between entrace hall and balcony. *... half of it on the entrance hall.. quite uncomfortable... I would not sleep there....fortunately my kid did not comment .... room size is embarrasing for a 4 star hotel...Internet is vey poor, 1-2 Mb/s... you can maximum use.. sometimes. . whatsup... Make sure that you have your own personal internet connection in case you need it! I advise you try any other family farm pension ... they have much larger and comfortable rooms (...we are regular customers in Scladming and Rohrmoos area every winter since more than 12 years. . Otherwise enjoy the location in the heart of Planai! BTW ... only one elevator in the building... be prepared to take the stairs... we had room level +2.... and ski room is located - 2 ( in the parking) ... but you have to come back in boots at level 0.... it is good replacement for morning fitness session!

Not possible to call reception, one has to physically go there, which can be a long walk No air-conditioning, had to sleep with the door open. This means cigarette smoke wafts inside when neighbours smoke in the terrace. No fridge, nor electric kettle/coffee machine Pillows too soft

Die Lage

Das Personal wurde komplett ausgetauscht und die Leute hatten kein System und keinen Plan. Für die Getränke beim Abendessen mindestens eine Wartezeit von 20 Minuten und das Personal konnte kein Deutsch und mäßig Englisch. Hauptsächlich Fertiggerichte am Buffet. Im Badezimmer Schimmel an der Wand. Sauna nicht sauber und von den skandinavischen Leuten ohne Handtuch nur in Badehose und Schlapfen auf dem Holz. Keine Reaktion des Personales. Die Lage ist perfekt aber das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist hier nicht annähernd gerechtfertigt.
