Excellent location. Very clean and well appointed.

The stairs are a little difficult for older people. Parking was a bit off site but managable.

I had never visited a property like this before, in terms of using door codes and the like, but gosh, it felt like home once I got there. I am the type of person who stays out all day once I leave, and it was marvelously comforting to know that no matter how worn out I was, I had a clean and modern and comfortable space to myself when I made it back. If I lived there full time, it might've been a bit cramped, but for the purposes of my visit, it was so spacious and inviting. The hosts had this whole packet prepared that I was able to peruse when I arrived, and it was abundantly clear that they love hosting people. Really an exceptional stay from beginning to end.

If I had to critique one thing, it would probably be the A/C units, just because of how they were situated. They were attached to the window, but the blinds weren't retrofitted for them, so it was a little awkward to just try putting the blinds down at an angle. Also, the unit in the living room was sealed onto an open window, and I got paranoid each night when the air sucked in or out, because it felt like someone was entering through the door. But I get why they did it how it is, and they were just trying to make the place comfortable. Can't fault them for trying!

The hosts were very responsive and helpful, both before and during the booking. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent.

As others have warned, the stairs are steep and narrow. Tall people can easily bump their heads on the stairs and in the bedroom - we did several times. The sofa is comfortable as a sleeper, but less so for sitting. The dishwasher door is missing a spring and it flops down hard.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The space was beautifully decorated, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The view, layout, and overall vibe were fantastic—it's clear the hosts put a lot of care into creating a welcoming environment. We wanted to get into the property an hour earlier at 2 pm, and the hosts were accommodating about setting up an additional payment so we could enter one hour before check-in.

Just a couple of small things to note: there are two flights upstairs leading up to the penthouse that are quite narrow and steep, which may be a challenge for some guests or those with heavy luggage. Parking on the street was limited and required some patience. While many people love memory foam beds, they are not our favorite, but we managed.
