    The prices in Ha Long are generally extremely overprice so it's understandable that this hotel is expensive compared to ave price in other regions of VN. However this hotel doesnt even meet some of the basics: 1. First, the staff is incredibly unprofessional. From my observation, the entire hotel seems to have only 1 receptionist and 2 other staffs. When my family arrived to check in, the receptionist wasn’t even there & the cleaning lady took over. They dont seem to have a booking management system, so the lady didn't know which rooms were booked by which guests. She had to constantly call the absent receptionist, got confuse between guests, and I had to wait almost an hour to get my room. When I finally received the room, because the cleaning lady was busy replacinh receptionist, our room wasn’t set up properly yet. The bed sheets weren’t laid out, and the room’s amenities were incomplete.. This made me wonder whether they had time to proper clean the room after the previous guests left? 2. About the facilities: as I mentioned, perhaps due to overworked staff, the room amenities were not fully set up. Additionally, around 9 PM, there was almost no hot water for a bath. The breakfast buffet was poor, and the cleaning lady/receptionist also being the cook :) Maybe she is the hotel owner who is trying to save some operation cost, or they need to triple this lady salary :) Aside from these dissapointements, the hotel is quite close to the city center, it’s located in a newly built area (with many empty houses), so it’s relatively quiet and quite new. Overall, it’s overpriced for what you get, but since everything in Ha Long is overpriced, well, maybe I shouldn’t have had high expectations in the 1st place...
