The apartment is beautifully furnished and very spacious. Kitchen opens onto a lovely small patio area overlooking the pool , and was very well equipped with cooking utensils.
One of the upstairs bedrooms opens onto a balcony which is an absolute sun trap and is not overlooked. The swimming pool is a decent size but is mainly shaded by surrounding trees during the day.
The bathroom had excellent water pressure so the shower was like a power shower!
The property was in a good position as regards its location in the historic quarter of Tavira. However it is on a fairly busy street and there is a railway crossing with quite a loud bell a short distance away. Not a problem during the day but a nuisance at night especially if you are in the front bedroom.
Unable to turn on the bath taps without the shower coming on !

Plenty of space. Good to have a pool and sun loungers so close to Tavira town.
Bathroom was clean but needs a bit of updating.
