Waterfront Ozarks Home w/ Hot Tub, Bar & Dock

This was a fun & quirky property with lots of decor/memorabilia that was fun to look at. All the decks & different rooms made different zones you could hang out in. This home is tucked in a nice pocket that was great for fishing or watching the turtles. The hosts also supply so many things to make you feel right at home: frozen mugs, coffee/snack bar, cleaning/laundry supplies, card games & even bait for fishing. The bedding & towels were also so luxurious, thick & soft. So much thought went into this place & it truly felt like an escape from reality for a few days. We loved the Tiki bar on the lower level; spent every night playing cards here while we watched nightfall. Too hot to get to enjoy the hot tub! More of an off season thing.

There were lots of spiders outside, which is a given in a lake home, but there were also lots of ants all over the decks/furniture. It made it hard to want to enjoy the seating in some of the spaces. I’m not sure if pest control would remedy that or not. The kayaks were also aged & crawling with ants, so we were scared to sit inside them. The only other thing is I wished it had a mat to lay in the water on.. but they did have whale tails for sitting & floating!
